The Bootcamp

Become the one who wields AI.

A hands-on session for people who already use AI and want to see what it can really do.
On your real work, at real speed. Your company’s bringing it to you.

Why this

It’s the difference between using AI and wielding it.

Most of us today

In the chat box.

You already use AI every day — drafting, researching, thinking out loud. You’re good at it, and it genuinely helps. Like most of us, your AI lives in a chat window, one question at a time.

After a session

Out of the box.

AI working beside you — carrying your context, running real tasks start to finish, building things with you. Same you, a much bigger lever. It’s a step up most people haven’t seen yet.

How it works

You won’t just watch.
You’ll build something real.

What you’ll walk away with

The one in the room who knows how to use this.

You don’t leave with notes. You leave with a way of working — and three things you can run the day after.

01 · A way of working

A simple, repeatable way to get real work done with AI — practiced live on something you actually care about.

02 · AI that knows your work

Set up AI that remembers your context and your expertise, so you're never starting from scratch again.

03 · Real speed

Get through in an hour what used to take you a day — without the burnout.

Build Your Own AGI — book cover

Read first

Read this before we meet.

Build Your Own AGI is the plain-English playbook behind everything we’ll cover. Skim it and you’ll show up already speaking the language — so the session is all building, not catching up. It’s free.

Rather start on your own?

The whole path, start to finish.

You don’t have to wait for a session. Once the prerequisites above are in place, here’s exactly how to get HQ running yourself — the same setup we’d walk you through.

// 01

Run the installer

Go to hqforwork.com/install, download the installer, and open it.

// 02

Log in and launch

Step through to the end and sign in with your email — the one you were invited to your company's team with, if that applies. Then click the white “Launch in Claude Code” button.

// 03

Trust the workspace

Claude Code opens with “hq” selected and “/setup” pre-typed. Choose “Trust this workspace,” and make sure the “hq” folder is still the target.

// 04

Dial in your settings

We recommend the latest models (Opus 4.8, GPT-5.5), thinking set to at least “High,” and “bypass permissions” (auto mode) turned on — you may need to enable it in settings.

// 05

Press enter to run /setup

Hit ⏎ in the message box to start setup.

// 06

Answer, then run /handoff

Work through every question until it says setup is finished, then send “/handoff” to save everything to HQ's memory. You'll do this at the end of every session.

// 07

Open a fresh session and build

Start with “/brainstorm” to get going. Working on a specific company? Send “/startwork acme” and describe what you want to do. Then it's the same rhythm every time: start work, handoff, repeat.

One tip to start

Start broad. Early on, the goal is to give HQ full knowledge of how you work and a connection a “harness” into all your systems and tools. Store credentials safely with hq-secrets, and HQ will guide you through connecting any service.

Ready to wield it?

Rather have a guided hand than go it alone? Grab a time and we’ll get you building in your very first session.
